  • Same. What's A/B, B/C category, how much is the registration fee and what counts as an evidence proof of your indoor track accreditation?

  • I missed the registration cut off :'(

Now you've got past level 1, let's see how you cope on level 2 . Just like playing a video game.

Joking aside, I have to agree, the email from Fullgascycling.com generates quite a few questions. But you've got past level 1 , which is the most important question and I'm sure all will be revealed in time. Which to be fair, is what the email says.

And when you do finally get up to level 4 avoid getting wiped out. It hurts.

  • What's the boss level like? Is there a movie at the end? Are you riding the TL?

  • Level 4 is the last level, that's where your competing for the ultimate prize; TL Champion 2014/2015. Is there a movie at the end? Maybe. If you are under 23 and you hand the elite riders their asres on a plate in TL, then there's a good chance Shane Sutton will give you a call. And you never know, go on to win TdF and they make a movie.

On 06/07/05 I was listening to the radio in a car park in Guildford when Jacques Rogges announced London would host the 2012 Olympics. My immediate reaction was, I want to ride on that velodrome. So am I riding TL? You bet.

  • Provisionally accepted. Was not expecting that. Back of le net!

  • If you are under 23

    Yes I am. Naturally.

  • Yeah dimi... Me too...

  • Accepted as well :)!

  • Not received anything yet so probably a no for me then :( I have been hoping to get back into racing as the time is right

  • They mentioned it might take a while to go through all the applications and send the emails. I'd expect you would get an email either way, so fingers crossed.

  • Dan - most of us have been accepted now, so once we have passed at Newport we should be able to race soon after I hope.

    Jai

  • I am feeling a little bit more optimistic about my chances of riding the track league as I just saw this on their FB page.

We are just finalising the short-list of riders and confirmations will be sent out over the next few days. They won't ALL be sent at the same time so please don't panic if you haven't heard from us. Everyone will get a response.

    However, I also saw this...

We would also like to take this opportunity to add that you will not be able to ride the track league using hire bikes.

  • Very envious on all you guys racing this year! Best of luck ladies and gents! Will hopefully be back in a year or two, in the mean time might pop down to cheer you guys on.

  • hope so. All I need to do is get fit again now! Was almost looking forward to a few months of riding around slowly.

  • Back of the net!! I'm in. Now I just need to get my license and sort out some proper clothes See you all there :)

out some proper clothes See you all there :)

Provisional licenses will do apparently, as long as you have BC Gold or Silver. I didn't fancy upgrading for 2months for £20, so checked with FullGas and they checked with LVVP.

  • I have been accepted too. They say that you have to attend a meeting. I hope that is not when I am in NY running the marathon as it is compulsory.

Need to get my license sorted. Annoying to pay £40 for two months :(
Have't been on the bike lately so I never renewed it this year.

  • Nice one Tika. I got an email saying the meeting is on Sunday 26th with a choice of times. See some of you there

  • I'm in.

What's the crack with BC Licences - I don't have one (not raced BC races this year) but do have an LVRC Licence (because I race LVRC events). Will I need to get a BC Licence then just for the rest of this year?

  • I think so Eagle, which is a pain as I think that expires in December, so £40 for two months :(
And Half of December is holidays anyway

  • It does start to become expensive. Especially if you plan on storing your bike there

  • I'm sure they said somewhere that provisional licences will be ok for this first winter league. Don't think you'll gain any points with a provisional licence though.

  • yes but a silver membership that gives you the provisional license is 40

  • The meeting is on Sunday 26th.

I emailed Full Gas and they recommended attending, even if you're still on the pathway to accreditation.
