True... it looks ugly, but if I can cruise at 60 Kmh on the flat with it, then I am happy to use one... don't see the point of microscopic that tend to infinitesimal gains... I can't go faster than 40 Kmh for a given amount of time on a road bike... give me the best 20 K pounds TT bike and I can work on the best position and maybe I can push 44 Kmh for a given time... big deal... I might even notice I am marginally faster

Boardman did the hour on a bike similar to the one above in 49 Km and did 56 Km with the most advanced bizarre machine... still short of nearly 50 if he wanted to go with the flow on a motorway.
If one is after speed, certainly should be looking at a recumbent type bike... Bowier did 130 Kmh on this
