These are from the guy before I bought it a few months ago. I've done about 500 careful miles on it since. The wheels etc have been improved, and the whole cockpit has been made a lot less crazy. Some of the photos include the worst of the markings to the paint. The scratches on the forks look worse than they were and simply solved with a little lacquer.

Another drop to £750
Annoyed that I'm having to do this, I think this is a bargain for somebody!

This is a bargain.
Top drawer art decor frame with near top drawer groupset.
Makes other C40 postings look limp

Good luck selling it, or securing funds through other means.

Yeah, I'm sorry for that, but I'm really up against it here.
Check back and I have always priced low to try and enter the 'community' spirit of LFGSS. Think I have given stuff away also, along with donating a little. If there is absolutely no room for rule-bending, I will get rid.
I think that anybody who has dealt with me on here will vouch that I'm pretty damn legit.

This has now been sold. Annoyed that I had to let it go for so little, but I'll take it as a lesson in life.
It is also comforting that it went to a genuinely good home.
I will rebuild!
So, I've got myself in a bit of a pickle, and need rid of this asap (as in the next couple of days...) It's bloody beautiful, and I'm really sad to see it go. I'll put up some more pictures tonight, but just wanted to gauge interest. I'm over a barrel here, so open to offers. I can meet in London tomorrow night/Thursday day. I had ideas about restoring this to a kind of mint condition retro weenie over the winter, but guess that's not gonna happen now!
C40 58cm carbon frame with Colnago Flash forks - generally good condition for age, minimal scratches/chips (see below for details)
Campagnolo Zonda clinchers with vittoria open corsa evo (wheels and tyres are less than 6 months/800 miles old). Sorry about the yellow.
Veloce 12-23 cassette (near mint) and unknown Campagnolo 13-29
Record 10sp shifters
Record chainset
Centaur mechs
Chorus/record BB (can't quite remember which)
Chorus headset
Corima carbon aero post with correct shims (sick)
Silver unbranded 28mm post and Selle Italia Gel Flite saddle
I think at the moment it has a 3t 100mm stem, but I can chuck in a 110mm Ritchey WCS and also a 120mm 3T one also
Guizzo Carbon Anatomic Drop Handlebars (200g)
The frame has a few very small scratches and chips, but absolutely no cracks or damage. I took this into a restoration place, and he said that the frame could be put back to almost new with a small bit of effort and/or money (most chips only cover one colour areas, instead of covering colour blend areas if that makes sense?)
The only real negative here is the top tube cable guides. One is missing, and one is held on currently by a cable tie. This does not effect functionality, and the restoration place said a fix would be no issue. I believe these guides were a well known weak spot on the C40.
£850>>>£750 delivered in London or M1 corridor between Nottingham and London. Looking at sold prices on ebay, I think this is decent? Happy to discuss though
