• Cycling cap pulled down close to glasses keeps most of the rain off. Just have to avoid sitting behind someone without good mudguards to avoid the water being flicked up from below.

    Never bothered with overshoes (even on Audaxes where I'd spend 20+ hours in Welsh sunshine rain). Commute in wearing cycling socks and change into normal socks (and jeans/t-shirt/etc) after a shower. Commute home in my "office" socks. Jersey/shorts will dry even in our damp changing rooms.

    Old newspapers kept in my locker to bunch up and stick in shoes if they're particularly wet, otherwise it's just a large tub of HTFU.
