Cheers. They've got life left in them but I wouldn't like to do any long, fast descents on roads on them. They'll be fine for what I plan to do (training and maybe a couple of races if the training goes well) I reckon. A blown sidewall on a muddy field is less of an issue than on a 45mph descent in the Yorkshire Dales.
Question: are Ksyrium Elite ok for CX? I'm about 12.5 stone. I ask because I have some with pretty worn rims currently sat on a commuter but they're light as owt, so ideal for cross. Also, 28c tyres ok on them? They're the 2011 ones I think, so standard width rim I imagine.
