  • I suppose this is the best place to ask, I've just got 1 small tattoo on my ankle and I had my septum pierced when I was 15 and then again when 16 after it had healed up.
Now I'm not scared of needles, if someone says I've gotta stick this needle in you, I'm like yup sure (in medically professional circumstances) but any time I have any kind of needle, I get palpitations, go uncomfortably hot and then pass out. I read up on it a while ago and apparently its a natural reaction some people have where your body thinks its been injured and to prevent bleeding, it suddenly drops your blood pressure or something, and you pass out.
This is very uncomfortable though and obviously not ideal. I want another, larger tattoo pretty soon though.
Anybody else have any experience with this and a way of preventing it? Numbing cream maybe so I can't even feel a needle? idk

  • I get the exact same thing, 10mg of valium and you'll be sitting there not giving a flying fuck and thus no panic response. Might not want to let on to the artist though as some, understandably, don't like working on intoxicated people
