Yep, but sorting out a nice crack in the rim atm. Need to take it down to hackney wick aka hipster central and hopefully a witch can cast a spell to fix it.

What y'all reckon on the Goldsprint Ronin?
Look like a nice alternative to the Dolan Precursa, come in a nice grey and a better fit (59cm reach fit the same as the 54cm Precursa), something for dicking about in London.

i dont mean this as a judgement, just wanted to ask does sidewind affect your balance on bike when your ride with rear disc?
-
• #42745
No
-
• #42746
It doesn't, however the cross wind effect is largely depend on the fork geometry.
The high trail/slow steering of the track bike are usually affected by cross wind.
-
• #42747
thank you.
-
• #42748
He's taking about a rear disc. I know you love talking about fork trail and head angles and all that, but it's got fuck all to do with your rear wheel scobes.
-
• #42749
i did not know that cross wind effect was dependent on fork geometry.what do you mean by high trail/slow steering?
-
• #42750
If you're high on a trail somewhere and you're steering slowly, the cross winds are stronger.
