I can't find SRAM S700 in stock online but from the few links I did stumble across it looks a bit too pricey for me.
Our distributor have them in stock, so they're already out there.
Make sure you order the Shimano non-organic pads for the HY/RD, that's the only major complaint I had with it (a new rotor helped, but the pads should make a better difference).

I know this, but they look so good. I'd actually like to save a bit of cash on the wheel setup so I'll certainly consider alternatives. I could especially do with saving some weight as the Straggler frameset is a heavy bugger. The Pacenti CL25 you mentioned would save me a little of both and would look nice next to the MTX33s I have on my Brooklyn. So thanks again. I'll have a think.
