got home too late to fix puncture, rain argh.

I just got a message through that HH collapsed last night, it is totally fucked down the far side... Why weren't the boards put back up to strengthen the court? Who was here last?

We put it all back when we finished on Sunday.

Strange how the sandbags are arranged so well on the removable side. Were the boards left face down on purpose?

Tim had a kids session on Wednesday and didn't put the boards back afterwards... :|

What's done can't be undone, repairs on Saturday then? Up for it but someone else got to bring the drills.

I know that, Ben, it'll get fixed up but it's really fucking annoying and a lot of work... It makes me crazy cuz we discussed the board situation only last week on the HH thread... Easily avoidable...

Euan, Peter, Jason and Celeste (HH track coaches) are all at the velodrome today and are keen to get the court fixed ASAP... If anyone is around today and can help, please post here...

I'll find out what they're planning and report back here as soon as I know anything...

I'd also like to reiterate that the boards MUST go back after every session, leaving them flat is unacceptable... Leaned against the permanent structure they add rigidity and will strengthen the court when the wind starts blowing... If you're running a session and don't have enough bodies to do the job, the track coaches are very happy to help put them back... I have this straight from the horse's mouth...

NO EXCUSES!!!

I've just had this message through from Euan... If anyone's nearby, please pop down and have a quick look... I'm not gonna be able to make it today and my weekend's pretty choc-a-bloc as well... Step up, people, look after your court...

Might be worth one or two coming down quickly to look at it so you know what's happening but it doesn't need sorting ASAP. We have secured it so that it's safe for now. The far side boards are all back up and joined, however they arent exactly in line. The sleepers are back on to keep it up right and the detachable boards are put back to keep it stable. 1 or 2 boards will need replacing, both in the far corners. The upright in the top right of the corner is snapped so will need replacing

I'll nip down there in half an hour or so and have a look/take some photos.

Anyone knows whether we have screws left? And if yes, where are they stored? Weather looks a bit iffy tomorrow, can do Sunday for fixing up.
