FS: 700c Rohloff wheelset - Thorn Raven Tour Frameset

This is an aborted bike i was building fir my wife.

It started out as a dawes galaxy which was then going to become a dawes galaxy with rohloff dropout sliders. Which hen turned into a Thorn Raven.

At which point I remembered that what she really wanted in the first place was a blue dawes galaxy. The galaxy has just come back from Mario's and looks amazing, so the aborted thorn bike is now up for sale here..

Very good all round condition, i will put up the pictures and size in a bit when I get a moment.

Indestructable. I have one of these which i rode through a deep pothole hidden in a puddle at the weekend. I ended up with very bad road rash, bits of skin hanging off and am still linping today, the bike was totally unscathed. Awesome dual crown forks that you could ride into the back of a taxi at full speed and would not get bent.

ROHLOFF WHEELSET.

These are 700c, so would need rebuilding as 26" to use in the Thorn frame. I de-stickered them so that they would look more appropriate on the dawes galaxy and hopefully not get nicked. The front hub is a shimano dynamo affair. Includes the shifter, cantilever bolt cable ends, and the drop out sliders. Is set up on the hub with the OEM2 axle plate so would suit rohloff drop outs. For a regular bike you would need to replace the axle plate and use a 'speedbone' torque arm.

135 outside lock nut dimension.

I also have a rohloff chain tensioner and a new rohloff 16T sprocket. I have the rohloff sprocket tool too should you want to change it over. And various other rohloff spares, see below:
