Why?
The levers are a comfortable shape but feel cheap and plasticy and aren't grippy at all. They brake levers feel too big, I have to really reach down them to get enough leverage to stop quickly compared to the Sram I am used to. The shift paddle gives you no feedback at all, you just swing it and hope it has shifts. It all just feels cheap, but works so I can't complain too much.

The really low pivot point is why I think Shimano are shit for people with smaller hands.

This is exactly how I feel about shimano vs sram but then I am (usually) comparing Sora to Force. Have also used 105 and Ultegra and can't say they're much better. Pivot point is in the wrong place, as someone else said...
