@onyerbike I think disc's in the end mean a lot more weight in general, frame needs to be stronger with supports, hubs are heavier, actual disc brake + rotors are heavier, wheels need more spokes, all as opposed to saving a bit of weight on the rim.
Though like others have said, big weight savings aren't the point of discs.
