Can't say I like many of the shoes on show here http://fashion.telegraph.co.uk/news-features/TMG11095088/Best-dressed-at-London-Fashion-Week.html (in fact the year-long trend for heavy-soled fuglies has been pretty unfortunate, imho), or those tiny bags, and only one or two of the outfits seem to work really well, but I do kind of like the unlikely colour pairings and masculine cuts, and I do find some of the new fabrics being shown on the catwalks at the moment quite interesting. Not that I ever dress on trend. This season I'm channeling quite a drastic vintage-distressed-tramp look, in my cycling trousers and baselayers - AKA too tight with myself to replace them at the moment.

I would have been up for a pair of chinos but I won't because a) they're Ted Baker and b) there's no reinforced crotch.

I can't see your links but most of the Japanese denim companies seem to do WW2 pattern chinos... I had a couple of pairs by Denime that I bought in a Jones sale many years ago, they were the absolute nuts...

Is that part of the H&M x Alexander Wang colab? I kind of fell a bit out of love with Margiela when they did it. That AW stuff doesn't look that great either. How large exactly is the sweetner they get for geting into bed with H&M?
And Andy Carroll always looks a gurn and a bucket hat short of the Hacienda c. 1992.

Its really grating that some many chinos on the market have pandered to the current skinny vibe instead of going with the traditional looser fit that chinos are synonymous with. you might have some luck with: Left Field NYC Chino

re the ties, Will do I dont think I'll find anyone. I dont really want to pay more than £10 a tie and I wouldnt trust some dodgy dry cleaner place with my any of best ones
I went to my tailor with about 15 items including ties to be narrowed as well as waist reductions and button up shirt + knitted jumper reductions. He'd done an amazing job (again) and at very good prices:
