I like the old North Pole in Manilla Street, which has barely changed for twenty years.

North Pole is the one, but alas has recently closed. There's a few decent boozers on the island (all within a few minutes on bike). Prospect of Whitby in Wapping is only five mins away.
I end up on spoons for the ales, but give it a wide berth in the evening.

That was nice, good vibes for CW. Would be good to start doing that on the regular. And thanks Dan for the pint, I owe you one

I'm in Cunty Wharf 'til next Monday, hit me up if you wanna meet for lunch...
Is Laura around as well? And why is this thread in rides and races? Sorry if I've missed something...
-
• #70
By lunch do you mean lunch and beers? I like lunch beers. Lunch beers on Thursday?
-
• #71
I think it's in rides and races only because it was mistakenly started here like like 7 years ago or something

It's my office 'local'. I am just off South Quay station.
It's a nice place, generally not too crowded and ok beers.
Laner and I will pop down around 5.45
