Read a few reviews on the Wtb Nano Race 40s, it would seem that they aren't to shabby on the roads, so I'll give em a go, gettin em cheap, and report back. Currently running 32c paselas, so you know what I'm comparing against.

You'll wear away the thread a lots quicker than you think if you use them for everyday riding.
I have the MTB version previously, they're decent off road and doesn't feel like there's too much resistance on the road.
