Marketing & PR Officer (4 day/week, £30,455 p.a. pro rata + 6% pension contribution)

The London Cycling Campaign (LCC) is looking for someone with creativity, enthusiasm and energy to market our membership and activities to London’s expanding cycling community.
These are exciting times for cycling in London: with the popularity of cycling on the up and new, high quality cycling facilities due to be installed (following LCC’s campaigning), many thousands more people are taking to their bikes to get around the capital. We need someone who has creative insight to capture the attention of these new cyclists and bring them into the LCC family – further strengthening our voice as the world’s largest urban cycling campaign. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with the ambition and drive to help take the organisation’s membership to new heights.
The post holder will have the ability to cultivate exposure in the media and elsewhere, and to pitch LCC membership, services and products through the creation of slick materials and sharp copy (online and in print) as well as support the creation of effective campaigns. S/he will be equally comfortable crafting materials in tune with cycling consumer culture as engaging people in the need for our campaigns.
