Road/Single/Fixie Wanted, (55-60cm) Show me what you got! £200 or less :)

As the title says just looking for any bike really. Need something for getting to uni and around Glasgow. Shipping will be required unless you are based in G-Town.

I'll consider pretty much anything as long as its £200 or less (preferably less) (I know I'm cheap but I'm a student!)

I'm 6'1" so anything from 55-60cm id say? just show me that bike you just don't use anymore or that project you never quite finished!

Hi,

I've got a Hugh Porter 531 frame possibly made in Woodrup that I was going to build up.

It is of very good quality, but paint is almost gone, would look nice as it is, just with lacquer to protect the frame and it'll look beater-ish and thief will stay away possibly.

It's frame + fork + BB & headset (which were there already) + Sugino crankset + stem and seatpost (don't remember the brands, will post pictures, they look mint) + riser bars
I can throw in cheap old Weinmann brakes that have the right reach for 700c wheelset.

I also have a Maillard Elicomatic wheelset (one rim is a bit bent, but in London's pot holes, you won't feel it and is safe to ride) with a 5 speed freewheel with Michelin red tyres.

I think it's missing brake pads, chain and brake levers and the seatpost nut and derailleurs then it's complete (I might have derailleurs from an old Elswick bike I can throw in for free)

Let me know if interested and we can agree on a price sub-£200.

I was going to build it as a SS with only lacquer (I really like the way it looks!) using normal crankset and freewheel (to switch back to geared if I didn't like it) but then a nicer Italian frame came my way, so this has to go.

Nope, is a different one (that I got for cheap anyway) + components that were not on the frame when I got it anyway (like the Sugino crankset, the wheelset, the stem, the seatpost bla bla) and sub-200 was taken literally, i.e from 0 to 199 :)

But, alas, is not what you're after anyway.
