Yep, you need those. Tektro has them, so does surly. I use this

And this generic crappy thing. I had to file off the little lump because my fork doesn't have the slot in the steerer. Ymmv.

A fork mounted front cable hanger could also work and may reduce fork jitter when braking (you will find out about this in due time).
Quick question. I've been thinking about how to cable up my cantilever brakes and while wondering how the rear cable would attach I realised that I most likely need a cable hanger.
I'm thinking I need this for the front and rear? Is this correct?
If so any suggestions?
