Remember when we compared posters to musical composers?
Cornie's a romantic, an optimist, someone who believes there's always something bright to look at in the dark.

@underscoredan, I have been smoking c, but am neither a or b, I'm not sugar coating everything, and I am realistic, but football is football, if you don't believe things can get better, that the results will turn your way that another player will come and ignite the team, what's the point in watching? What's the point in checking out the results? Finding out about the players you're constantly linked to in rumour mills? Wondering if the manager can make the team better?
I'm not saying you're either with us or against us, but if you don't see any possible way things get better, why keep involving yourself in it?

Football is all about hope. Hope and bitter, bitter disappointment.
-

England away day in Italy in March, hope it's in Florence or Turin and not Milan.
-
• #111181
I hope it's in Naples.
-
• #111182
Rome is nice too. The locals are very friendly.
-
• #111183
I suppose I should be good at this.
Corny is Antonín Dvorák
-
• #111184
There you go. Proper insight there.
-
• #111185
Dvorak had a really vivid imagination.
-
• #111186
Did he endlessly rip off other composers?
-
• #111187
Actually he was incredibly creative but wasn't very meticulous. Brahms helped him out with his counterpoint. Trufax
-
• #111188
So Brahms is Sid Owen?
-
• #111189
One of the best things about LVG is his overuse of the word shall.

Rodgers has started to talk about 'Liverpool being in transition' subtext don't expect a lot.

See the Arse #postvieira

Rodgers has started to talk about 'Liverpool being in transition' subtext don't expect a lot.
Is that 'transition' as in 'sold a world class striker and bought a lazy donkey'.
-
• #111193
In transition meaning (same as bandied about at United) don't expect a lot. Balotelli was a massive gamble that isn't paying off, but the injury to Stirtidge is harsh for them too at the same time.
-
• #111194
Transition meaning shit. It's noticeable how the vast majority of Kopite melts have piped down in the past month.
It seems poor Dicki will walk alone.
-
• #111195
Thank fuck for that, Andy...
-
• #111196
It's almost as if Liverpool have pissed all the Suarez money up the wall. They should have spent it as pragmatically as Tottenham did with the Bale cash. Has Titi Camara retired?
-
• #111197
Rodgers has definitely taken Liverpool as far as he can. Time for a
change.I think he can take them further.
The Championship and beyond.
-
• #111198
Top trolling.
The harbingers of Rodgers demise are knee-jerkers. Any team would go through an adjustment period with their best player leaving, their second best player injured, and three new players in their back four.
We'll finish above United, Spurs and Everton, if not Chelsea, City and Arsenal.
-
• #111199
Ha, I was being charitable totally forgot what thread I was in... ;)
-
• #111200
Who's their second best player?
Corny, I am not a pessimist; I'm just realistic about what kind of club Spurs are and I'm fed up of sugar coating everything - it's a badly run club, despite all the money sloshing about.
I would argue that if you have been a Spurs fan for 30 years and can still trot out that guff then you are one (or more) of the following:
a) dim
b) plastic
c) smoking something that I would like some of.
