@BianchiMasher on the bonkers CS3 yesterday. been a while since I took that way, forget just how nuts the layout is, "quiet" route maybe but narrow two-way lanes, bizarre sections where you cross over to the wrong side of the road (don't cross the streams) do not make for a zen journey :/

Yes, utterly bizarre. Met cs3 for the first time this evening. Good alternative to the Limehouse tunnel but it does require concentration.

Some kind of Hed 3 transaction going down at the gates to London Zoo this evening

As we've said many times, it's the wrong solution for Cable Street, which should be modally filtered (in three sections) and stop being a supplementary alignment to the Highway. One day ...

Nope that's stalking

errr.. you aren't supposed to cycle through the Limehouse Link?!
East India Dock Rd / Commercial Rd is ok though. It mostly depends on which Lea crossing I use as to where I end up. -

I did cs3 from Excel to Tower Bridge today. I really need to find a decent street view capture of the point where the cycle track disappears and you get two 'no cycling' signs instead. (One of them being on the road, as it's the Blackwall Tunnel entrance.) I think it does go somewhere, but I failed to work out where I was supposed to be. And even as an A road fan Commercial Rd round that way is pretty grim :/

Didn't hear it if you did, but how hard is it to remember we have the same name?
Good to see you and catch up, will give you a shout if it all goes through smoothly.

Did you take the Lower Lea crossing (green cycle path on the south pavement covered in crap) or the East India Dock Rd / A13 bridge (clean blue cycle path south pavement)?
The connection from there to the CS3 is pretty hard to see, there aren't really signs just the occasional blue square painted on the ground (round the bit with spice-named streets and manned barriers).
I don't mind Commercial Rd too much, been cycling it since the pre- fixie skidder days when I lived in Plaistow but it can get a bit pushy when the traffic's bad. -

Also spotted @JB earlier, the beast bike is looking good, thanks for stopping to say Hi.
I DAS'd a few people on my way home but nobody obliged then out of the nowhere someone on what looked like a blue road bike DAS'd me on city road and I gave the biggest yell and a little skid in reply.

Ha can't believe I didn't recognise, I guess I'm just not used to seeing you on gears.
Probably catch you on a ride or at lmnh soon :)

Was in mega stealth mode today! But saw your four spoke a mile and a half away! Looks epic at night mate! Will try to catch up with everyone and make up for lost time soon! Stupid part 3 is making me depressed! Your skid definitely one of my highlights this week!

I did once accidentally do the Limehouse Link on my bike - it wasn't too bad, as the traffic was nose to tail and rolling at about 10mph. Last night I simply missed the CS3 turning as I came south down Butcher Row, and suddenly there I was at the mouth of the tunnel.

Still not been spotted, I'm now convinced I'm invisible. And I got a puncture today.
Life is tuff like that I suppose.
Hallo! I thought it was you but wasn't sure...things get difficult when people aren't in close proximity to a bike or wearing cycling clothing!
On the other hand, saw @pooface this morning on York Way. On a bike, in Waffa and rode up alongside saying 'Hey Jess' so that one was pretty easy. Nice to see you!
