can't believe people fit slims. the normals barely get over my thighs!
-
• #1778
Normal is the operative word here.
-
• #1779
haha not that bad!

Anyone remember those Gustins which Murts put up for sale on here?
-
• #1781
Go on then, I'll give them a whirl. Posted okay?

I got slims in the silk grey. Simply wow. Fit a little bit like an ed38 didn't need to take em up. Denim unreal. Slim fit is the way forward.

N.E.C (not enough chevrons)

So, I got the Gustins through from @tommmmmmm - not as slim as I thought they were going to be, quite like them so far, definitely need an iron though. Also there was a bonus free clipper lighter in the pocket.

Not selvidge but I got a pair of Levi 522 recently and they're good for cyclist thighs.

If anyone were to order from there ^ always pm me first ;)

^ whyzat?
I have and like a couple of Albams, but have to wait for serious sale-age before purchase, partly due to my location across the water. -

Found a gorgeous pair of selvege in tk maxx long acre on Tuesday. 33 inch waist. Lovely cut on me. Some NYC brand I had never heard of. Cut and button or something. £59.
I couldn't button the fly up.
Gutted.

I saw loads of lovely selvage Levis 501s in the Brixton branch the other day, all W30 and below tho'... Worth a look if you're a whippet...

I'm still trying to flog the really nice Natural Selection jeans I got from TK Maxx, though I will try them on again now. I got some £15 Edwins on EBay and they're great.
@French_Touch I did warn you about the ironing...sorry about that! Also, are you suggesting I have fat thighs!?
-
• #1792
Really need to wash my edwins, as they have that smell, but they're not ready yet. Any tips? I think I'm gonna try the freezer
-
• #1793
the freezer practice didn't work for me at all. extensive airing is better for me. up to a few days of hanging outside the window.
-
• #1794
Righto, wearing shorts for the next few days then

If my Edwin E55 32" (just measured as 37") fit me about right/ just a bit loose. What size gustins should I get? I just measured my waist/hips as 35".
edit:
actually after reading through some peoples comments on here I'm kinda put off -
• #1796
gustin = hyped shit
-
• #1797
dunno, I'm happy with my three pairs especially for the price!
-
• #1798
Lots of backlash on styleforum; my experiences with Gustin thus far have been good - sizing dead on for me (33 waist = 33 size), nice cut for me (slims) and good quality for the price.

Anyone got the Uniqlo selvedge jeans, can't be that bad for £35 can they?
-
• #1800
Nah but they are noticeably thinner than their jap offerings.
I'd keep them if my waist and thighs would play along. I think regular 33s or 34 slims would be great, the material and finish are really nice.
