I am out, I have finally admitted that I have too much interview prep to do for tomorrow, much panic! Have a lovely evening!
-
• #332
Fair enough, good luck with your interview prep!
If it's reassuring, I bailed on drinks in May to prep for an interview and then got the job.
-
• #333
Good Luck!

• #334
Smash it, @Cazakstan!
-
• #335
Yes! Bloody good luck Caz! We should do lunch sometime innit as I get the feeling you're in wandering distance from me?
Also in for early doors action - should be there around 5.30-ish.
I've just come back from a grilling by our finance team about payment schedules I sent them and need to go back over with a fine tooth comb today so imma gonna be thirsty by tonight. And probably hungry for roti.
-
• #336
Gah, well jealous of Roti but thanks for your support laydeez!
@pootsmanuva I'm based in UCL main campus, where are you? Up for lunch sometime for sure!
@Doctor_Cake I will take that, it must be a good omen!

I'll be bikeless and probably arriving about 6.30pm/7pm. Don't nobody get no rotis without me! Does this place do filled rotis? I'm craving a goat roti.
-
• #340
Those dissertations will def not get marked if I watch some hencam.
-
• #341
Malaysian Rotis - with dahl, chicken or lamb curry, just to set expectations...
The place gets rammed out the door and down the road, and take away's may be the only option, just to set expectations...

Thanks mands. I have a deep love for goat roti and tend to forget goat is no longer 'most favoured meat'.
-
• #343
Have been delayed by spreadsheets and trying to get figures to balance but should be there in next 30mins or so!
-
• #344
Just got here.. Its rammed! Will see if i can spot anyone
-
• #345
On my way!
-
• #346
Lovely to see you guys earlier. Sorry it was fleeting and that I mainly just moaned about stuff! Hope the rest of the evening was good!
-
• #347
I'm awake wishing I had more Roti King
-
• #348
Yep. Could have done with one more too. Enjoyed the evening and if I can, I'll come and watch you guys do CX, whilst cursing my weak shoulder.
I'm either very weak or tyres, whether folding or wired, have been improved. Zip ties, 1 wasted inner tube and 2 hours later, I managed to successfuly get the new tyre on the rear wheel. I'm so screwed if I get a P** whilst far from home or a bike shop :-).

Ladies! I'm wondering if a regular pub and a regular date would help attendance a la compass beers - or maybe rotating between a North-ish pub and a south-ish pub each month?
Feel free to ignore me though mind, given that my attendance at ladies drinks is a bit sketchy!
-
• #350
Yeah that's what we were trying for with a "very central location" - to get more attendees.
The reccy was cut short and didn't unearth any great pubs.
The couple of LMNH pop-up times, that was always going to be a summer thing, was slim on numbers anyway. So maybe Nthish and Sthish may be what's needed.
Birkbeck union was suggested but we never made it, not sure that's what you want for the regular pub.Regular date, like first and last Thurs of the month?
If I got there at 5.30 would that be too early for you? I can only stick around for about 45 mins. If that's too much hassle (and I totes appreciate if it is) then let's go for a local drink soon. xx
