Pretty much, except the plastic on models tend to be hard compare to bottle.

Other than the harm that would be caused by the solvent dissolving the plastic.

Plastic bottles can't feel pain, so it would be OK.

So the humbrol enamel will dissolve the plastic bottle, my main plan is to sand the area a little roughly and then paint it.
