  • Hi INTHEKNOW,
Thanks for sharing those photos mate, they're awesome!
I really like the paint scheme on your Telfer, the two tone red and white looks killer! Do you still have it? I'd love to see more detailed photos if you've got any? Thanks again for posting them.
    Cheers

  • Hi beejay7575 I dont have it any more would love to track it down again. I do have some better pictures but will have to find them.

  • Hey no problems at all man, the photo's you posted are very cool! You've inspired me to rethink my paint scheme, I really like that two tone and white effect.
Anyway it's just great to hear from another admirer of Rob Telfers work, especially someone who's actually owned one of his bikes. Good luck trying to track it down, it would be very fitting for you to own it again. Out of interest, what year was yours made?

  • Not quite sure but I think it was around 1989 and I was the first owner of it

  • Here is is a better picture beejay

  • That's an awesome looking machine INTHEKNOW. Thanks for digging up a photo, it's a beauty!

  • I've been trying to upload some more possible paint options, but the system shat itself!! Try again tomorrow.

  • Still can't post photos..

  • Anyone else having problems uploading images?

  • Ok, the uploads seem to be working again so here are a few more possible colour options.

  • Yes there are upload challenges at the moment.

  • Might try https://imgur.com/ as an alternative means of posting images.

  • Edit: nevermind, your upload is working...

Anyway, I'll vote for the last one! Very classy.

  • I vote pink / blue, get some pre-puke-green Lampre kits and you're golden!

  • Haha! Thanks for the well considered vote TijmenK, I'll definitely take that photo into consideration when I make my final decission. ; - )

  • Thanks Reinier89, I just have to decide now whether or not I deserve a classy looking bike?

  • More bits!

  • Blue pink looks nice!

  • Very nice combination of parts!

  • Thanks man!

  • I didn't think I'd ever get my hands on a NOS Stronglight Delta Bottom Bracket with 36 x 24 threading, but I got lucky. This will now replace the Stronglight 700a Bottom Bracket I was going to use.

  • The Delta Bottom Bracket was also the last component I was looking for to complete my Stronglight Delta Groupset for this build, happy days!
It also meant I could get my bike nerd on and completely recreate a very cool vintage Stronglight Delta brochure I found on Flickr, using my own components.
