most Arsenal fans don't suffer from the divine right to success syndrome.

Ha, everything's raw this season Andy.
I don't think we have a divine right to succeed either. It's nice to see the table how it is, although I'd like to be a bit father up it, we are where we are though and I can deal with that to.

The 18 points of Arsene Wenger's 18 years at Arsenal http://espnfc.com/club/name/359/blog/post/2063490/headline?ex_cid=nullĀ -via ESPN FC http://es.pn/fcapp
Point number 19 would be winning fuck all for half of his tenure.

He's still won more than any other Arsenal manager.
Arsenal are a (financially) large club, with a small club mentality and that isn't going to change with Stan Kroenke in charge. What Wenger has done is worthy of respect, but sadly his best years are gone and he should go. The trouble is, the club will appoint the wrong manager and it'll go tits up, just like most other clubs who've had a long serving, successful manager in charge.

I really hope they get the next appointment correct. And have the balls to give him the necessary time to succeed.

Some clubs are lucky to have worldwide appeal, so that coachloads of fans from Japan or Norway can help take up the slack
The Guardian have sunk so low as to reference the football thread, rather than the other way round.
