I'm sorry what? Natural coffee roasted in Philosophy. Logical problem, sounds fundamentally flawed.
of course you want it roasted in their own philosophy, i mean you wouldn't want it roasted in someone else's you couldn't possibly know where it'd been.

automatic filter coffee machines, do I really need to get a Technivorm Moccamaster to get a decent cup? coffee geek forums say yes, basically.
are there any other options to brew in relative bulk at home? -

Might be, yeah? An odd new name as I recall. Mostly staffed by Aussies, who are actually nice, despite the most recent Aussies appearance on here

First taste of Workshop 'the cult of done' (or whatever they call it) espresso this morning. Woof. Serious business.

Yes. It is the old Taylor St as I have discovered. Just had a very nice flat white and they didn't sneer over the request for sugar. All good. Ta for that.

I bet they are good, but those blurbs make me cringe.

They only do natural coffees and roast them in their own philosophy.
Just when you thought this thread had run out of wankridden pretentious fuckery.

Indeed. I prefer my coffee artificial. This natural coffee trend has had its day. I'm just going to drink things made from e-numbers from now on.

this is the coffee thread, my friend...

David Lynch was doing that before it was cool - see link on last page.

Pure E174 or E175? Might be a bit hot in liquid form, and a tad expensive in quantity.

I'm assuming it means natural processed coffee vs washed/pulped etc... Sorry if I missed the obvious jokes, blame jet lag...

So I went to Mission Coffee and bought one of their blends in a little bag, it tastes very unusual, mild with a fruity touch. Not bad, but £16 was too much. Today went to Wholefoods and found there Union Coffee, same size bag costs only £4, haven't tried it yet.

It probably won't be as good as the Mission Coffee....

Stood in line at Blue Bottle Williamsburg last week, a lad in front of me was talking at (not to, at) his companion about how cooking is really easy, takes no talent, and that baking is the truer art form, all about precision, nuance, technique and delicacy. Went on and on and on for 10 minutes about it, peppering his speech with tales of his own technical prowess. His turn at the counter eventually comes, and he orders a Soy Iced Latte.

I have the feeling there is some similarities between them.

Actually I lied, it was workshop coffee. They really need to be more creative with names.
There is one by the station - well just past it heading towards Kew. Was Taylor St Baristas but has changed name recently, can't remember the new one.
