i used to have a raw frame and rust on your clothes is the worst bit. definitely go down the clearcoat route rather than trying to oil it.

+1 for clearcoat @dicki

Last time I tested the Moser around RP I realised I need some sort of bottle cage, only place I can think of is the seatpost/saddle... any suggestion for a setup like this?

+1 for Halfords acrylic clearcoat - it seems to key surprisingly well on bare metal (I gave mine a light sand and wipe-down with solvent before spraying).
twas a good move - no more rusty thighs for me -

Any online stockists that deals with Kinlin XC rims? Interested in the XC279 in black.

That Chali-Olga is beautiful...
From one mad paint job to another, but this one's for me. Picked this up for cheaps, may start a thread once I've assembled some more bits.

Bit small for you, surely?
Or is it going to be a crazy TT setup?

Needs twin spoks and Cinelli Angels.

Magic gear and risers is surely an option worth considering....

Full on TT. 55cm top tube, so with that seat angle it's longer than my road bike I think, should work nicely. Will have to run some positive rise I imagine. Julie Dibens is 5'10" afaik, not far off.

But it's definitely getting risers at some point for a laugh

Ok, it seemed smaller than the other one..
By the way, hadn't noticed you named that frame Charlie-Olga!! Sweet.. ;)

Ignore the donor wheel & pedals, thats just to get it rolling. Still have some drivetrain issues to sort out. Rear hub bearing are fucked and the rim needs to be trued.

Is it supposed to be clamped on the back of the rails? If so it might be tricky to fit them as the plate on the back is pretty chunky itself...

Thanks - yes the custom spacer is a tight sliding fit on the Gusset ring, to get it all to line up - 7 pins in the drive flange and 6 holes in the ring + the freewheel can rotate with the Gusset spacer fixed to it - we had to find a spot where it all lined up - we used centre punch marks that line up to show the 'sweet spot'. the 7 pins were a tight fit in the custom ring (and loctited in) and were just a few thou' undersized to ensure they located in the flange easily. The 6 grub screws are just undersized for the holes in the Gusset ring but bottom out on the freewheel body. There is no discernible play in the system - it is locked up solid as the Gusset cassette lock ring pushes the whole lot onto the freewheel body and then the custom ring on to the hub face. I have had a couple of rides now and it works really well and the Shamal wheels are really fast.
