TNRC has been put down. It started getting a bit mangy a while back and while we could put up with that, and the occasional bout of incontinence, it was getting to the point where all the joy had gone out of it. It was just the kindest thing to do.

Perhaps, if you promise to look after it well, we will get you a replacement. Well not a replacement as such, nothing could replace dear old TNRC, oh the memories, but something similar, something like TNRC was when it was young. Keep your eyes on the 2013 thread, there may be an announcement shortly.

did the lea valley 10m TT last night and thoroughly enjoyed it.
was really refreshing being able to turn up, pay your money, sign on the dotted line, collect your starter then ride.
in this day and age i'm used to having to go through countless inductions, sign waver disclaimers and pay silly amounts for 'taster' sessions.
overall i thought it was really well run and couldn't fault any aspect of it. only thing i would have liked was a noticeboard or something with the current times that had been posted.
otherwise got round in 25xx for my first 10m TT which i was happy with. will be back again next week.

ps. - although the instructions say 'Helmets are Mandatory', just been informed that these can be hired from the Veldrome for £4
