  • Exposure Trace pack that replaced the Flare. USB chargeable with an on/off button as opposed to the twist action. So far I haven't charged them in 3 days (I ride at night) and they're still flashing green when you turn them off. I've had to angle the front down and put the rear on the seat tube to move it away from eyelines because they're that bright.

  • First I was spending more than that every year on crappy catseyes that kept breaking (because I had the brackets on a couple of bikes it seemed to make sense to keep buying them even though they were obviously shit)...

Then I went and used the £1-£3 chinese lights but buy 10 at a time so i could just check them when they broke (which was often)... Still ended up riding home with no lights because the three sets of shit lights all decided to break...

I like blackburns, but the step up in quality didn't feel quite in line with the cost... knogs are way to expensive for what they are (hipstertax)... I also like the mooncomet, but the bracket isn't that great...

If you want really good lights you start to run out of options...

I'd rather people bought some lights even if it's the shit ebay ones, but I decided it was worth buying some good lights and in my opinion the exposures are worth the cost.
