6 -15 short sleeve jerseys would be £30 each.
So who'll be the first to design something just for the hell of it? Not an offishul forum jersey or anything, just something that looks nice. Actually, 'the official stylish cycling kit thread' jersey will do nicely.
I'll gladly pay £35-40 if I like the look of it.

  • I have a nice Assos waterproof cycling cap. Its called a 'Raincap'. Not sure if they still make it.

  • Thanks for everyone's input. Reckon I'll probably just splash out on a Rapha (will pop into Condor to have a proper look at it) or Assos.

  • Am I the only one that thinks a waterproof cycling cap is a bit redundant? Unless you have a sugarcube where I have skull and bone and hair and brain?

  • They are for light showers but if you're out and about for 10 hours and it's raining heavily, the cap eventually sogs up, gets cold and starts freezing my brain off.

  • Perhaps. Add a gilet and norain armwarmers and you're sorted for summer showers.

  • I think they keep the rain out of your eyes better (the peak doesn't get soggy) and because they don't get so saturated with water they dry out quicker.

  • Castelli I thinks min is 10.

  • Don't normally do current team jerseys, but I'll make an exception for Caja Rural:

[I've heard that Luis Leon Sanchez - pictured above - has signed for Astana]

  • ^ link doesn't work.

If Ed got flamed for posting the dhb jersey before, this is even worse :-)

But I think for £12 it is awesome value and could be a lot worse - I've bought it and it seems decent, pockets on the back will be handy. I'll probably be wearing it mostly with something more casual on top since I don't like the taking-yourself-seriously look, but yeah recommended.

  • Oh god no. I own one of these and it's shit. The material's fine but it's way too long and lacks elasticity, so things in your pocket are swinging around your bum rather than pulled tight into your back. The collar is low at the front like a v-neck – a fucking stupid design for cycling.

Impsport make better cheap jerseys, although not in such small sizes. None of these are really stylish though.

  • Hmm, maybe that's a sizing issue as it doesn't seem too long on me. Will have to see about elasticity, cheers for the heads up though. Not an expensive mistake if it really is terrible.

More stylish than 90% of jerseys in my opinion, and ~£50 cheaper than the other 10%.

  • The collar is low at the front like a v-neck

In fact, sure we're talking about the same jersey? Mine is as high on the collar as you could get without being a polo neck. Assuming it's zipped up that is. Maybe the cut has changed from one year to the next ?

  • I've only had mine a month. Look at the photo, the zip stops below the collar. TBH I didn't really notice this before buying.

I'm with you on just wanting a nice, simple, modern material jersey in black. There's not so much choice.

  • new cadence kit is hawt, shame shipping is so expensive

  • Nice, but LS.

These are good but I couldn't find any more in small person sizes.

  • They used to do a short sleeved, not sure why it's only in colourful version now. Mostly black merino mix one but I'm not keen on that zip...

  • If I may be so bold - taking pre-orders on these

    thread here http://www.lfgss.com/conversations/255884/

  • The zip on the Howies Slipstream has turned out to be a real issue for me. I raved about when it first came out because it had the little string loop that made it easy ( i.e. not fiddly) to find and use but the squared off bottom of the metal zip pull means it's forever getting stuck sideways.. Pisses me off no end..

  • Impsport made awful jersey, which made me trying to figure out just how much worse the Dhb one is.

  • They have made all sorts of crap.

    These are fine though.
