  • Anyone riding 32c on 13mm rims? Lots of places give a conservative no to doing that and say 28c is biggest you should go but some say modern rims are good for 3x internal rim width(38-39c on 13mm). But yeah thinking of 33c planet x uncle johns to go on my new pompino.

  • You've probably seen the table Sheldon quotes: 25mm, although he notes the numbers are "conservative".

    Tester's table is, if I remember correctly, based on the table Sheldon uses but gives optimum (rather than safe) combinations: 23mm.

    Even if it does work for you, it'll ride like a pig.

  • 32c knobbies riding low pressure on gras/grippy surface?

  • You can fit those on 13mm rims, just that you won't get the benefit of the 32mm tyres due to needing to uppen the pressure a bit to stop it from feeling too squirmy.
