No mud as it's been so dry! Just as well as I don't have the shoes for proper mud. Hills though... It was pretty tough (no PB for me!) and I did regret having such a big breakfast once or twice but I really enjoyed it and definitely want to do more crosscountry.
I got there really early as I didn't realise there was another race beforehand and was hanging about feeling lonely when I spotted @Bernie. Always a pleasure to see that man.
Also, epic prizes for finishing! Tshirt, medal, sweets, banana, hat, bag, towel, other assorted stuff. Amazing.
