C40's and C50's can suffer rot by the stay/drop out joins as the was no exit holes in the stays for excess water to run out
this was one of the first carbon Colnago's , arguably a pre cursor to the first generation C40, pre the crimped tubes,
really quite egotistical to claim "extensive knowledge"
