What is a gear stop? I've just goggled it and I can find anything bike related. If you mean gear hanger there is nothing wrong with it and never as been its straight and never been damaged. There is a little stop on the rear mech or derailleur (Thats what changes the gears) thats broke. So the derailleur cage (Thats that holds the jockey wheels in place) revolves around anti clock wise 360 degrees when you take the wheel out. Its a bit of a nuisance. I have based my price on my extensive knowledge of C40's my knowledge of the market and the bikes condition. I could have easily dressed this up and hidden the very slight marks on the frame from storage but I chose not to so as not to waste anyones time.
