Voodoo Rays in Dalston do some pretty amazing vegan pizza slices.

Cool, I might be going there soon for a night out in the basement, might load up on pizza beforehand.

In response to my own query some months back, Tesco on the OKR have great vegan naan breads in their freezer section. "Accidentally" vegan, that is.

It'll be there until the 12th October.

I just read as "I'll be there until..." Imagine that!

@lucyh, vegan baker extraordinaire, is getting her bake on for a MacMillan Coffee & Cake event at Daily Goods in Camberwell tomorrow, Sunday, 10:00–13:30.

Just found out there's a VegFest happening in Olympia (sounds kinky). Might go there later, only it's a bit out of the way and pretty sure it'll be full of hippies.

also i've neglected this thread a bit in recent months (i'm not really on the forum, smh) but i'd like to do a vegan food thing soon. i like cycling and i like to eat. maybe a whole multi-stop crusade is a bit ambitious. is gallery still doing whatever was mentioned a few pages back?

vegetable & red lentil cannelloni with a cheesy cashew sauce and freshly garden-minted peas

vegan palmiers (i used jus rol pastry for this - coincidentally yesterday i also made the apple danishes from their pastry and forgot that freshly-baked apple goods are hotter than the sun, promptly burning my mouth and ending up with a huge blister which then burst. CSB + gross)

fresh tomato & basil soup with mushroom, almond & camomile pate on white sourdough

A friend of mine has these and they look great. I was going to say "great in the flesh" but that doesn't really make sense.

@nanü @Oliver Schick Theres a burgeoning "national socialist hipster" movement in parts of Germany now, sadly many of them have adopted (or should that be co-opted?) vegan and straight edge lifestyles.
