Beginners Polo

If anyone is coming down from london fields please can you collect mallets and/or the loaner bike from LookMumNoHands!?

Just realised it's exactly the other side of London for me (SW11)

I'll be up for games and can stay to help out tomorrow!!

Yes mani!!! and Alexandra that would be awesome if you could. It's not vital that you do as I've sourced an extra 4 mallets. If you can, please do though - the more the merrier. They are at London fields. Mani, just so you know some of the roads will be closed so parking might be a pain. There is potential to get you some secure on-site parking if you want. Would need your cars reg. no. ASAP.

Little update for Rockifest: We will all be provided with refreshments (food, cold drink and an alcoholic drink if desired). I'm bringing a bunch of (basic) tools with me that'll fix most things on the day. Sessions for the public won't start til 1pm so if we get there earlier we can have a few games and something to eat. I'll be there from 11 (maybe earlier). See you in a Brizzle!

The sessions don't start until 1pm, so you've got plenty of time!

Also, I'm gonna head into LMNH and pick up the mallets on my way South, so you don't need to worry about that.

How was it?

Not a single person turned up. One of the security guards had a little go, but that was literally it...
That was very disappointing but the day was redeemed somewhat by the free food and drink and the >4 hours of 3-man BB that we played.

Not sure if it was an issue with event promotion or an issue with people wanting to play polo. Let's hope the former.

Sorry to hear about the poor turnout for Rockifest - would love to have been there to lend some support but was out of town for the weekend. On a brighter note, the weather looks good for tomorrow (Tuesday) - polo, ne'est pas?
