The bike I built was different to this kit. My bike just had bamboo for the tubes. Cutting up an old metal frame to supply the metal bottom bracket, head tube, dropouts and seat post collar. Not knowing enough about bamboo, I either used the wrong bamboo, bamboo that wasn't season enough or did incorrect assemble of the ends that the bamboo broke down. The frame became very flexible and started to shred.

Lynx, in the past you have said you have previously built a bamboo bike. If this was true why are you now asking about it?
