  • +1 on the foam roller. They hurt but it's a really nice pain.

For anyone interested in my back pain the other day, I ate an oreo brownie (omfg so good) and then fell asleep on the train with my knees wedged against the seat in front. Woke up in Manchester with someone hitting me in the face with a bag and my back pain was all gone and hasn't returned. OREOS ARE MAGIC.

  • We have a foam roller in the gym at work so I've been using since the last half marathon (before any pain started) after runs so will continue to do so.

If you define "I might actually have to stop and have a cry" as "really nice" then yeah, I can see what you mean.

You might even find that a stretch & a roll means you don't even need to rest up.

I won't have time to run over the weekend anyway so will be taking a couple of days off running either way.
