First half a complete shit shower. We really need to sign a replacement for Bentaleb, I don't think I saw him pass the ball forward more than 5-6 times. Ryan Mason looked awesome when he came on, scored a great goal but it also helped that we changed formation.
4th round draw looks fun. We've got Brighton, Chelsea are up against Shrewsbury, Liverpool meet Swansea and City have Newcastle or Palace

Glad I'm not a Spurs fan, even against our reserves your midfield was hopeless. Thought Pochettino made a massive tactic blunder by not bringing Eriksen on, although that didn't stop the Spurs fans getting all giddy about two long range pot shots.
To complete the cup defeat excuses bingo I'll say we're definitely concentrating on the league.

Although come January it'll be FA cup or nothing.

Just got back from the game. Spurs were really poor until Masons goal lifted them. I think if Pearce had kept Vaughan on we might not have got so overrun in the middle second half.
We played well despite making 9 changes ourselves, pleased for the young players Osbourne and Grant who will have a massive confidence boost from their performances.
Spurs were largely poor and the sums paid for some of the players who were on the pitch tonight is laughable. Spurs fans were shit too, they didn't start singing until they were winning, and even then hardly at all.

Liverpool are keeping themselves in good company.
Liverpool set to be investigated by Uefa for possible breaches of FFP rules -

Heh. Northerners - lolz, Clive,
I hope the mystery Arsenal virus has cleared up so we can actually put a decent team out. Sadly Tekkers is not back yet - this could be a bit of a tough fixture. I'll take a point.

Where are all the kopite whoppers to criticise big spending clubs for financial doping?
Oh, wait....
-
• #110961
A Chelsea fan crowing about financial fair play? Wow, much moral high ground, so hypocritical etc. You got your financial doping in (on a MASSIVE scale) before rules were introduced. Congratulations.
I wonder, did you read Matthew Syed's article in the Times on Roman Abramovich recently?
