Was that you I swerved round at the gap by the gate? Didn't recognise you from behind, you almost got a "get off the road you running cunt", not 'cos I took exception at you being there but there is a running club that mass by that gate on a Saturday morning blocking off the entire road to the extent that I often have take to the grass to get round them. So now, whenever I see a jogger in that vicinity, my heckles unjustifiably get raised.
Anyway, joggers are like speed bumps, mostly you can easily swerve round them but otherwise, so long as you hit them right, you can bounce over them without much drama.
@middleofnowhere matt riding past me in Finsbury Park. I was running, right by the barrier at the top of the hill. By the time I'd got my brain round to 'do a skid' I realised that wouldn't have been appropriate in the circumstances.
Also, a complete clusterfuck of traffic between Greys Inn Rd and Russell Sq. Never seen the likes.
