What's a good, relatively cheap negative scanner that one can buy?

The one I use, a "QUATO IntelliScan" (same as "Plustek") is supposedly very good for the price.
It's a dedicated 35mm negative scanner. Do you want this? Or flatbed / other formats as well?
Hmm, good question! I'm not going to need one much, so I am wondering whether I should just stick with using a shop. I want it for medium format as well as 35mm
