Roubiax.
It fits his aims and training for next year. Sky seem happy enough with the idea and a result there now comes with the added bonus of rubbing
saltmud in the Froome wound. -

"where does he get those wonderful mph..?"

Tony Martin looked absolutely guitted on the podium.
Would love to see Wiggo wear the Stripey Jumper in the Tour TTs next year, but alas never going to happen

What's that filter you get in so much modern photography where it makes everyone look like they have a dirty face?
-

The gritty im a hardman filter.

Wiggins had the ideal preparation for it, basically sweet FA for much of the season while Tony came in with two Grand Tours in his legs, and some ridiculous racing with it. But very glad to have Wiggins in the Rainbow hoops, a special day for the country. Now for the road race!

Predictions? Heart says Cancellara, head says Gerrans or Kristoff.
-
• #3966
I'm saying Kristoff..

Norway, Switzerland and Slovakia have 3 man teams, so I struggle to see Kristoff, Cancellara or Sagan winning, unless they find help from their trade team mates. Spain, France, Australia and Belgium have nice sets of options. My wildcards are Van Avermaet and Gallopin.

Van Avermaet has arguably been the best Belgium rider this season, but I can't see Boonen and Gilbert playing second fiddle to him. That may hamper them.
I wonder about the British team: supposedly they're riding for Ben Swift, I hope they do and not Froome.
Gerrans will be very heavily marked this year: I wonder if Australia might spring a surprise with Matthews instead.

Yep - they've got second place nailed on.

Any situation where a group arrives at the finish with both Matthews and Gerrans in it, the sensible thing to do is ride for Matthews. Gerrans' chances are improved if it's a hard race and the best sprinters there, like Degenkolb (although how this illness he's had will affect him remains unclear), Bouhanni and Kristoff are dropped before the finish.
It's in the interests of Spain, especially, and Italy to make it a hard race. Whether they do or not remains to be seen.

Meanwhile, Cadel Evans has confirmed he's retiring after the Tour Down Under in 2015.

Not sure team size matters too much. It'll be a select bunch at the end and not many will have more than two men in it.

Michael Albasini is my pick. He will act as a foil for Fabo and will chip off the front on the final climb (so Spaticas dosnt have to pull, like always) everyone will look at each other, have a cup of tea, chat about who is going to chase, wave their arms a lot, and he will hold it to the finish.

Charly Who?
Possibly not, but then again Wiggins would probably never be allowed to get away in the first place.
