    I did the 100 miles mark with that fork, but with 23mm Gatorskins at 120psi.

    Lesson fucking learnt.

  • This was 210-ish miles on 28c Randonneurs at 100psi. I had spasms in my hands, particularly thumbs for a few days afterwards but I think much of that was down to my bar/hoods setup being slightly off.
    Couldn't really fault the bike itself, even outside of its normal working conditions.

  • 100psi! you don't really need to pump it that high with 28mm tyres, only 23mm.

    If you're doing long ride again, I would get some lightweight tyres and run the pressure a lots lower, touring tyres like the rando felt like shit when you run it at a lower pressure.
