...Im sorry if it came across heavy in my first two visits...
No need to apologise; but I would like to: for the sarcastic tone of my post.
The Morris is an astonishing piece of work.

Game, set and match to Emmo...

- OK.
- I have, but still disagree: a compliment (or criticism) is meaningless unless you know who is making it.
- This was my point: you confused what I wrote, with what Ed wrote. Neither are condescending (see above).
- OK.

Lovely story. Beautiful lugset.
Sometimes there is no mystery, its just a man talking about his passion and giving praise where it is due #csb

Have now received the "YOUNGS" from Mario and i have now fitted the headset, thought i would send in a better pic of the "trophy" lug work. Picture not going through, will try later.

can Mario clear powder coat over an existing paint scheme?
eg this,
if flaky bits are taken off, clear powder would secure in situ decor better than clear coat methinks -
• #567
More questions, anyone know if Mario does carnon frames?

YOUNGS pic still won`t go

I've cheated in the past in similar situations, on motorbike parts to keep the patina, and used synthetic enamel (truck paint) as it is easy to apply and no special masks when spraying.
-
• #574
thanks , that's real help, kind of liking the idea of wearing special masks strangely
unlimitedcolours.nl are who I contacted re refurb, I believe they sprayed for rabobank, I saw the belkin team bikes in their oven, they have given me a quote for a complete repaint, which is a bit stiff, and i await confirmation regarding if they can actually replicate the same decor, emails are showing something is lost in translation, so a phone call should give clarity -
• #575
just had confirmation i can have decor replicated, so happy, still have the hankering for special masks though

That head lugs is something special, I've seen something like that before, but never in such detail, would love to know how much effort have gone into the head lugs.
@>>>>>> stop moaning old man.
