What a shit day on the roads...
Two incidents during the day, both for riding primary... One even involved the classic "Why aren't you wearing a helmet?" comeback...
This evening was way worse tho'... Going down Kennington Road at a fair lick, heavy traffic so cars are stationary but the bus lane is clear so cyclists are moving freely... Come to a green light when a mother pushing a pram and leading three other very young children pops out from behind a van and straight into my path...
I slam on the anchors and a young lad crashes into the back of me, wiping out on the pavement... Couple of grazes and a bent front caliper, which I straightened out for him, but he was OK...
Who on earth crosses a road on a red man in charge of that many children?
Amazing...
