It's common advice not to put new track tyres on and roll onto the track without taking off the layer of sealant that comes from the manufacturing process (a thin film of slippy stuff!)
Not sure I like the idea of taking sandpaper to new tyres to prep them for the track - would 30 mins on rollers do?
Failing that should I put them on the road bike and do 30 mins prior to the track session?
