  • Tommmmmm, can't tell you a lot about the orange frame, not even 100% sure its a Donohue without a better look. As for the white frame TM has Paul made a few of them as far as I am aware. I'm not a track cyclist but I am told there are still lots in use.

Tbh considering the amount of frames he made very few come up for sale its just a case of waiting. I think anyone who has one knows how good they are and hang on to them.

If I hear of one coming up for sale I'll let you know.

  • I can sort the flag design out reasonably easily so that's a problem

  • that was on ebay before and then on here for a bit. Seller admitted to shill bidding http://www.lfgss.com/conversations/253724/

  • It's too small for me as well I think. Ideally I'd like a 58cm, same size as my road bike. I have a 61cm Graham Weigh branded track frame already (see previous page) but the headtube is very high.

This is looking a good deal at the moment and if the size suits you it could be built up to be a beast of a winter bike..

  • This was my daily ride for the last two years. Lovely. Red makes it faster innit.

It was a nice ride with it, but now I'm selling it. Maybe someone's future ticket to this appreciation society? http://www.lfgss.com/conversations/256183/

  • So nice, good luck with the sale!

  • My 853 is badged as a Quinn cycles of chester, lovely colnago rabobank paint that is I believe original as the bike came to me with very few miles-its now done loads! anybody know about these? Must try to upload a picture.Ta adam

  • does anyone have an 853 track frame they're thinking of selling? (54/55/56cm) cash waiting

  • Ahh after my meagre contribution with the Pollock inspired Graham Weigh that passed through my hands 3 years ago - i can officially now say im a Donohue owner, and lover!

  • Love this a lot. Very nice

  • really strong work here dick!

  • @Dick That's a beauty. But your Pollock Graham Weigh wasn't a meagre contribution, that was one of the best paint jobs I've seen!

  • I worked in the factory for a bit, quality whilst I was there was what one would call er variable...

  • What looks like a lovely bike but sadlly the price is too high.

  • Goodnight sweet Orange Donohue, you obviously just couldn't handle the messenger beatings...

    @tommmmmmm

  • Oh FFS :(

What happened? Is that the downtube?

I just found that seatpost again after my house move as well, I packed it up ready to send months ago.

  • Yeah, DT near the BB. Just jumped on it after a pick up, put the power down up the hill and then it felt like I was riding a wet noodle!!! Thought I'd busted a pedal at first but unfortunately not, it's cracked almost the whole way around.

Shit timing too, leaving for Melbourne and the CMWC in 3 weeks and can't afford a new frame (unless something ridiculously cheap comes up)

Sucks so much because I've fallen more and more in love with this bike as I've been working on it these last 6 months, amazing frame.

  • Oh and don't worry about the seatpost now hahah!

  • Ooofff... Wonder how much talbot would charge to tig in a new tube, or would a sleeve be an option?

  • Reckon a sleeve would work? It's a pretty high stress area. I really have no idea! Heading to Melbourne in 3 weeks for CMWC so need something sharpish!

  • Hello!

    Great thread...

I am the new owner of a lovely Graham Weigh 531 millenium track frame.

Its an amazing frame made out of really unusual tubing (teardrop DT).

I'm fairly sure its a PD built frame after reading this thread but I'd like some advice on how to verify this...

    What do you think?

  • Is it definitely 531 and not 853? All the other teardrop DT bikes I've seen (like the two known!) are 853.
