He definitely does, I introduced several of my workmates to his blog and now they email me every time he adds something new to tell me how great it is. I hear from them before I see Luci's updates here :-)

FWIW I liked the blond girl on the kitchen floor. It was a nice change of pace and the style of writing worked really well with the subject. But I was less keen on the mucky Claire one... can't quite put my finger on it, maybe not quite tight or dark enough(?).

Yeah, I try to hit the mark, but sometimes it doesn't quite make it.
It's funny, but some stories I think are good are less popular, while ones I banged out in twenty minutes are a hit! I guess I just go for it and hope for the best.

The next piece is going to be a thing about the Blog North awards (as suggested by @photoben) and hopefully before next Friday I'll have a new story, Pulp Friction, ready for release. It's much more of a traditional Lucifer story!

Don’t know. Waiting on agents at the moment. Reader feedback has been very good. Agents that have responded either say ‘like the story, don’t like the writing’ or ‘like the writing, don’t like the story’. I’ve been advised by trustworthy sources to resist compromise at this stage and wait/hope for Mr/Mrs/Ms/Miss sympatico to manifest.

Meanwhile I’d started the next (a more conventional narrative, thematically linked), but then that got put on hold while I applied for a new job. Initial flirtations with applications/interviews has left me wondering if I should sit tight again and get back to the project in hand. Who the fuck knows. I’ll settle on a plan by the end of the month…
