Yeah, I try to hit the mark, but sometimes it doesn't quite make it.
It's funny, but some stories I think are good are less popular, while ones I banged out in twenty minutes are a hit! I guess I just go for it and hope for the best.
Thanks for your vote, hugo7, and thanks for your opinion. It means a lot to get feedback, both good and bad. The next piece is going to be a thing about the Blog North awards (as suggested by @photoben) and hopefully before next Friday I'll have a new story, Pulp Friction, ready for release. It's much more of a traditional Lucifer story!

FWIW I liked the blond girl on the kitchen floor. It was a nice change of pace and the style of writing worked really well with the subject. But I was less keen on the mucky Claire one... can't quite put my finger on it, maybe not quite tight or dark enough(?).
