Hi,
I've just received a custom built titanium fixie/SS frame from Waltly Titanium which I order about 8 weeks ago.
I used to ride a fixie a lot and loved it but it was killing my knees. I stopped for a couple of years but then recently decided screw it, let's go the full 9 yards and build a custom titanium beast. I've jumped back on my old fixie to get back into it and my knees are playing up again after about a week.
Sadly I just don't think my knackered knees are up to it so I think I'm going to have to pass this one on.
The frame is meant to be a 'do it all' frame so has a eyelets for mudguards and rear pannier if ever needed. Cable routing to rear brake it internal.
Geometry is:
Seat tube (C-C) - 540
Seat tube (C-T) - 580
Top tube (Horz) - 570
Seat tube angle - 73 -
Head tube angle - 74
Head tube length - 200
Chainstay length - 430
BB drop - 67
Tube diameters are:
Down tube - 38.1
Head tube - 38.1
Top tube - 31.8
Seat tube - 31.8
Seat stay - 16
Chain stay - 23x15 ovalised to 19
Frame comes with a lifetime warranty. From my research Waltly are very good with honouring warrantees but they won't cover shipping it back to them. But as you'll see from the close-ups below the welding is spot on.
I'm looking for £600 so grab a bargain.
